Title: Lecture at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Post by Forum Admin on Jan 8th, 2009, 11:13am Last february I had an opportunity to give a lecture at Singapore's Yong Siew Toh Conservatory part of the National University of Singapore) and visit an old friend of mine Chee Kong Ho. The Conservatory now has very nice new performance hall and supporting facilities. Singapore has also changed considerably since last time I was there for the annual ICMC and appears to be much more densely populated. Just about the only thing that has remained constant is the muggy equatorial climate and the endless hum of A/C units :-).
