Last year's ICMC 2008 took place in the attractive SARC (http://www.sarc.qub.ac.uk/) (Belfast, UK). I had an opportunity to present a paper on the DREAM techonology dealing with anterior aural spatialization and shape recognition using tightly packed 2D speaker array. Also, with delicate risk recived a performance on one of the late eveing concerts in the night club. I feel like the piece perfectly fit in the venue and the setting.

P.S. UK fish'n'chips are as bad as everyone claims them to be. My advice, while in UK, stick to curry (still having fond memories of Manchester's "curry mile"). :-)
