Lullaby to be performed on ICMC2003 in Singapore
Jul 1st, 2003, 1:31am

Great news!

SlipStreamScapes V: Lullaby, a work that is very special to me, being dedicated to my firstborn son Sebastian (who is soon to celebrate his 1st birthday Cheesy) has been selected to be performed on the ICMC (International Computer Music Conference) in Singapore.

I am looking forward to my first visit of this great country.

Let's just hope that the SARS stuff is over with by the end of the summer.  Wink

The Aftermath

The conference was a blast. I saw some old acquaintances of mine, as well as made some new contacts. Singapore is simply amazing. Yet, the trip over there was certainly something I wish I'll never have to do again -- almost 24 hours in the airplane certainly makes wonders on your health and sleep habits  Roll Eyes.

Apart from that, my piece went very well. I had the pleasure to perform it with Mary Simoni, the current president of the ICMA organization and a very talented pianist and composer.

All in all, the whole experience was a lot of fun! Looking forward to next year's ICMC in Miami -- at least it will be a lot closer!  Wink
