After several months of grant hunting, I am extatic to have finally received an exploratory grant from the Virginia Tech's College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences which will fund the fist phase of my latest research project titled Aural Matrix Haptic Display Interface — a Three-Dimensional Assistive Technology for Disabilities Associated Visual Impairment, Hand-Eye Coordination, Navigation, and Motor Skills (yes, it is a mouthful) which incorporates music technology, human-computer interaction, engineering, and assistive technology. Special thanks go to all the collaborators, Dr. Francis Quek, Dr. Tom Martin, William Holbach, and Michael Dunston, without whom this would never have been possible.
