This year at SEAMUS conference, I've premiered my latest live laptop work titled
Structured Improvisation I -- Chalybs (yes, yet another convoluted title). The work featured Max/MSP in conjunction with Propellerheads' Reason software (via Rewire). An attempt was made (through the use of Max/MSP) to shape Reason's output in order to generate an aural structure which has little resemblance of the aesthetics promoted by the Reason's interface. How successful was I? I'll let you be the judge:
