On 12th of May 2007, following premiere at Digital Id 070429 at VT, a new and improved version of
Pandora multimedia interactive work for color tracking gesture hyperinstrument, voice, and computer has received its second performance as part of the Oberlin festival. I am pleased to say that [apart from the fact that I've ironed out most of the bugs
), performance was very well received. It was fun to meet some of my old students, talk to old acquaintances, as well as be a part of a retirement party of one of the greatest computer music composers of our times Gary Lee Nelson.
BTW, if you are a type who appreciates good cuisine coupled with zen-like presentation and happen to find yourself in Oberlin during lunch-time, definitely check out
Weia Teia on the Main street. That place rocks
(and meals are incredibly affordable, too)!
