This past week my Colleague Dr. Cowden and I gave a lecture recital at the national CMS conference in Salt Lake City. Given that we performed my SlipStreamScapes V: Lullaby piece which I did not toch in a while, I had to recompile the good ole' RTMix together with RTCmix on my new laptop (MBP, no less). It is truly refreshing to see that libre software community does appreciate its backwards compatibility and for the most part fool-proof build tools. Apart from one small build error (likely courtesy of the fact I initially used newer build tools), the software compiled flawlessly and the Ubuntu Studio system performed without a glitch despite the fact we had barely fifteen minutes for the setup. Chalk one more up for the libre software!
