Transcontinental Grapevine – interactive work for the Linux Laptop Orchestra’s (L2Ork) L2Ork Tweeter platform that makes the work’s strict EDM timing possible despite two groups of performers (total of 11) being over 5,000 miles apart (Blacksburg, VA, USA, and Buenos Aires, Argentina). A theme and variations based on the opening from Lane 8’s “Grapevine” feat. Elderbrook. All the content is crowdsourced, or co-created by 11 participants, including instruments. (10′)

Tornado – real-time simulation of a tornado designed specifically for the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology’s (ICAT) Cube audio system with 128-channel sound diffusion, 2014. (2’)

  • Uses D4 spatialization library real-time audio spatialization library for Max/MSP and a Mira iPad interface for remote control. 1,011 24bit 48KHz audio streams are mixed down to 128 channels in real-time with sub-21 millisecond latency.

Constellation – an interactive audio-visual installation/demo for the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology’s (ICAT) Perform studio, Fall 2013.

  • Using Max/MSP programming language, the demo integrates 12 IR Camera Optitrack motion tracking system and an 8.4 Genelec sound diffusion system. Showcasing spatialization of audio in an immersive audio-visual environment using a custom rigid body wand. Integration of multichannel music playback and visualization.
